Workout of the Week

Every week we will give you a new workout to spice up your training. If you have any you think are tough and would like to share, email it to us. (The more painful the better!!!)

Here is a tough one:

Find a 5-10mile loop near the track
or
bring your trainer to a track.

Do a good warm-up as I know you all do!
Bike:Ride the loop or 15 minutes on the trainer (above race pace).
Run: Get off your bike and run 2miles on the track at 75% heart rate.
Repeat at least 3 times or until necessary pain or fatigue is acheived. This done once a week will make your legs learn how to run off the bike in a triathlon. For any newbies, we call this workout a brick or a double.

Remember to always warmup, warm down and try to stretch those muscles too!!!
